takes place July 19-20-21 at the Endeavor Lions
Park. Fri. features softball and euchre tournaments;

with Father Marquette Days Celebration. Montello

The Annual Father Marquette Days
Celebration will be held August 17 & 18 this year,
with most events held in the City Park. Come enjoy
an old car show, horseshoes, tractor pull (Sunday),
softball and volleyball, tons of food & drink, including
a chicken BBQ, parade at noon, live music, dancing,
games and kid’s activities both days. A sidewalk sale
and arts & crafts sale will also be held. This entire
event is in celebration of the founding and settling of

LABOR DAY WEEKEND
The Annual Neshkoro Lions Club
Horse and Pedal Pull will be held Saturday, Aug. 31
at 1p.m., at their arena in Stan-O-Gene Park, located
just north of town on Hwy. 73. There will be lots
of horses, riders and competitions in horsemanship.
Prizes will be awarded. Pedal Pull & kid’s games, too.

The Westfield Firemen’s Annual
Chicken BBQ is slated for Saturday, Aug. 31 at
the Pioneer Park. The fun includes live music and
dancing, a trap shoot and softball tourney, lots of
refreshments and great BBQ’d chicken served at 3pm!
One of the finest Brat Festivals
in the state will take place on Sunday, Sept. 1 in the
Harrisville Park/Sportsman’s Club Building. Come
for brats and all the trimmings, cold drinks, softball
tournaments, carnival, volleyball, tractor pull, live
music, games, raffles…the Volunteer Fire Department
hosts this event.

Rendezvous Days will be held
September 27-28-29 at the Marquette County
Fairgrounds. This is an 1800’s revival festival, with
traders, craftsmen, reenactors, black powder demon-
strations, tomahawk throw, gun collectible show,
and more! Be sure to sample the food of the era as
you stroll through the living history encampment.
A huge rummage sale benefitting
Habitat for Humanity will be held Sept. 27-28-29 at
the County Fairgrounds on the south edge of Westfield.
Newton Vol. Fire Dept. Annual
Harvest Fest fundraiser at the Harrisville Sportsmen’s
Club Building on Sept. 28th. A pork loin dinner
will be served from 4-8pm, with music, dancing and
a silent auction.
Scarecrow Festival on October 12,
is a celebration of autumn and includes crafters, hay-
rides, food, entertainment, a scarecrow contest and
fun with pumpkins!
Fall Festival & Car Show at the Oxford
